Sometimes data may be missed or incorrectly entered within a Session and needs to be updated. The Bulk Edit functionality enables the user to add or amend data within the Session and can be used on the web only.
Bulk Edit results in a complete overwrite of the field value. StockMate does not record the original value entered in the session. To maintain a copy of the data prior to Edits, it is recommended to Export the CSV for the session. Refer to Exporting a CSV file for an Existing Session in Edit Existing Session – using Import/Export CSV (web).
Select Sessions to view the Session List. To narrow the search, input Session Name, Type, Property, Date Range or Source. Select Search.
Filter further by selecting the Filter Icon and typing Session Name, Code, Type, or Session Property.
Select a session record to view Animal Scans.
Select to input Search Criteria. Select Load.
The EID field must be visible in the report configuration to select animals.
Select the desired animal records, select Bulk Actions, Edit.
The tick box in the report header row, can be used to select all animals on the current page of the report. Selecting "Select All" will select all animals in the session.
Enter any values that you wish to change for all selected animals, select Update X Animals.
Check before selecting Update that the number of animals listed to be changed is what you would expect.
If the selected animal records are to be deleted, select Delete X Animals. Select Ok.
After successful deletion, an option to available to undo the delete.
Permission level of Administrator or Area Manager is required to use the delete functionality.
To Bulk Edit Treatments; select + Add, enter treatment information, Update X Animals.
If the Bulk Edit Treatment Item was not applied to the animal scans previously, on update the treatment will be applied to the animals. If the Bulk Edit Treatment Item has already been applied to the animal scans, values entered in Ailment, Batch No., Bottle ID, Expiry and Dose fields will update previously saved values. If left blank the previous values will be overwritten. If the Bulk Edit Treatment Item was accidently applied to the animal scans, unticking the Apply checkbox will remove the treatment from the animal scans.
Once updated, the animal/s will display the new value in the Animal Scans screen.
