Find Animal (app)

The Find Animal function on the app allows a user to search any animal by EID, NLIS ID, Visual Tag or Society ID.
  1. On the app Dashboard, tap Find Animal.
  2. Scan or enter EID, Search. Or input NLIS ID/Vis Tag/Society ID, Search.
    Info
    The NLIS ID, Vis Tag and Society ID fields support wildcard search in their search criteria. These are marked with *? or *.
    The EID and VIS Tag fields support scanning.
     
  3. Tap  to view the history of a particular field.

    Animals that have had an EID and/or Vis Tag change will report those changes.

  4. Tap View Sessions to view the sessions the animal is in.

    Date range may need to be adjusted view all sessions.

  5. Animal Details can also be accessed from a current scan and/or session.
    When on Scan Screen, tap the 3 dots from the top right corner. Tap Animal Details from the dropdown.
     
    Animal Details will open. Tap the back arrow to go back to the animals scan.

    From the Sessions scan list, tap and hold the animal you wish to view Animal Details for. Tap Animal Details from the list.

    Animal Details will open. Tap the back arrow to go back to the Sessions scan list.
