Head Days Report (web)

Head Days Report (web)

The Head Days Report provides a summary of the time animals spent in a Paddock, or other specified state, over a given date range. It has practical uses in assisting with Carbon Capture reporting, or assessing carrying capacity. The Head Days calculation uses the industry-standard approach and contains calculations for Head Days and Partial Head Days.
Info
This is a summary report only, individual animal data cannot be obtained.

Generating the Report

  1. Select Reports, Ins and Outs, Head Days.

  2. Specify ‘Search Criteria’ if desired, and select a 'Report Configuration'. Load.
    Info
Missing animal can be included or excluded from the report results using the Status search criteria.

  3. The results are displayed on screen and shows the number of Head, the Head days (Avg); Head days (Total) as well as Partial Head days (Avg) and Partial Head days (Total) for the report line. The report can be downloaded to CSV, if desired.
    Info
One head day is calculated by a crossing of midnight.
Partial Head Days is calculated based on one head day being a complete 24 hour period. It is displayed with decimals to represent the parts of the 24 hours.
For example, if an animal has an Arrival session at 6am, by 6pm the Partial Head days will show as 0.5 (12 hours = half a day).
