Joining Plan View and Report (web)

This article outlines how to:
  1. Create a new Joining Plan
  2. Use the +Bulk Add functionality to create a Joining Plan
  3. Use the Import CSV functionality to create a Joining Plan

Creating a New Joining Plan

  1. Select Breeding, Joining Plan.
  2. Select + New Joining Plan.
  3. Input Female and Male animal details using the Lookup function to search for the animal in StockMate by EID, NLIS ID, Visual Tag, or Society ID. Enter Batch, as required. Save.

  4. The Joining Plan will be visible in the Results section of the screen.

Creating a Joining Plan using Bulk Add

  1. Select Breeding, Joining Plan.
  2. Select + Bulk Add.
  3. In the Bulk Add Joining Plans screen, input search criteria for the female animals, Load.
  4. Select the animals, Continue to Joining Plan >>.
  5. Select . Input the male Animal ID (EID, NLIS ID, Visual Tag or Society ID) into the search box, select . Enter Batch as required.
  6. Select Add xx Joining Plans.

Creating a Joining Plan using Import CSV

  1. Select Breeding, Joining Plan. Select Import CSV.
  2. Select Get Import Template to download a template. Alternatively select Browse to locate the file on your computer, Open.
  3. Once the CSV file is imported the data will be displayed in the Results section of the screen.

    If there are any validation errors, these will be visible in the Results area of the screen when the file is imported. The Error Message field will appear on the right hand side of the screen with the reason for the error. The errors can be downloaded and fixed before the file is re-imported into StockMate.

Amending a Joining Plan using Bulk Edit

  1. Select Breeding, Joining Plan.
  2. The Results section of the screen will display all the Joining Plans currently in place. Select the Joining Plans to be edited. Select Bulk Edit.
    Use the search criteria to filter the results, if required.

  3. In the Bulk Edit Joining Plans screen, make the required changes.
    In this instance we are changing the Male. Select to Edit, input the ID for the Male, select.
    To remove the Batch number saved against the Joining Plans, select the pencil icon of the Batch field and then leave it blank.
    Female information can not be Edited.

    After Joinings have occurred, it's recommended to Archive the Joining Plans. This will hide them from the Planned Joinings list.

  4. Select Update xx Records.
  5. The updated Joining Plan details will now be displayed in the Results section.

Screen Overview - Reporting Joining Plan

  1. Select Breeding, Joining Plan.

  2. The existing Joining Plans will be displayed in the Results section of the screen. The Search Criteria can be used to narrow down report results. Select  to download the data to CSV.
