Publish App Versions

By default, when a new StockMate App version is released by Elynx, this app will become available for tablets to be updated. However, there is optional functionality that allows for clients, with dedicated tenancies, to have control over the app versions made available. This delays the release of StockMate app versions to allow for internal testing. Only users with the “Corporate” permission level can view and approve the latest app versions before they are published.
Note: It is recommended all StockMate apps are on the latest version, or a maximum of one release behind.

User Permissions

The “Corporate” user permission is required to access App Publishing functionality. This special permission level can only be granted by Elynx. Please contact Elynx Support support@elynx.com.au if you require the permission level to be added to further users.

Download App Version for Testing

When a new StockMate app version is released by Elynx, it will become available for download, for users with the “Corporate” permission. This allows for internal testing before the app is then published and made available to tablets.
  1. When logged into the StockMate website as a “Corporate” user, select App Versions.
  2. Select the version, Download APK. The APK can now be used for internal testing, etc.

Publish App Version

When you are satisfied that the new App Version is ready to be made available to all other users within the company, the “Corporate” user is required to Publish the version. Once published it will become available to download and install on StockMate apps for all users.
  1. When logged into the StockMate website as a “Corporate” user, select App Versions.
  2. Select the version, Publish this Version, Close.
     The most recent published version, which is available for all users, will be highlighted Green.
