Setup Allflex RS420 EID Reader via Weigh Scale (app)

This article outlines the steps required to connect your RS420 to StockMate via a weigh scale indicator.

The typical process involves:
  1. Pairing the RS420 to the weigh scale indictor,;
  2. Connecting the weigh scale indicator to the tablet; and
  3. Configuring StockMate on the tablet.

Pairing the EID reader to the weigh scale indicator

  1. Turn on both devices

  2. On the EID stick reader, ensure:
  1. Bluetooth is on
  2. Authentication is on
  3. Selected device is 'slave' (if using the Allflex RS420 stick reader in conjunction with StockMate).     

    Connection is typically automatic but can take up to a minute.
    When the connection is established, the blue light on the weigh scale indicator stops flashing and the bluetooth symbol on the stick reader also stops flashing.
