Setup Contacts (web & app)

Contacts allows the user to include all contacts in StockMate whom the business deals with, e.g., buyers, contractors, veterinarians etc. Contacts can be setup and edited on the web, and to a limited extent on the app.

Setup Contacts on the Web

  1. Select Configuration, Contacts, + Add Record.

  2. Enter the Contact Details fields, Save Changes.
    Name and/or Company and Code are required fields. If Code is not populated by the user it will be auto-populated. The Code is used when importing Contacts via CSV throughout StockMate. 


  3. Then select the Contact Group(s), select Save Changes again.

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 to setup each Contact.

Setup Contacts on the App

Limited Contact types are available for setup on the App: Purchaser, Vendor, Item Purchaser or Item Vendor.
  1. Tap Configuration (top-right cog icon), Purchasers & Vendors.

  2. Select the Type, tap +, Input details, Save.

  3. To edit details of existing Purchasers & Vendors, select the record, update details, Save.
