Setup Yards & Gates (web & app)

Yards and Gates can be setup on the web and the app. Users can name and setup multiple yards within a property and can nominate the gates available within each set of yards. They can setup Automatic Gates for systems supplied by different manufacturers. The ‘Yards and Gates’ feature makes it easy to setup custom session templates for specific yards and to more easily generate drafting rules. (See session template setup screenshot below).

Setup Yards & Gates on the Web

  1. Select Configuration, Properties & Paddocks, Yards & Gates, + Add Yards.

  2. Name the yards and select the appropriate property.
  3. If the yard supports automatic gates, select this option. This will enable you to add details regarding the Communication Methods, Manufacturer Gate Protocol, and the appropriate IP Address and Port numbers. Select Save & Edit Gates.

  4. Select + Add Gate.
  5. Fill in the visible section of the Edit Gate form, select Save.
  6. Select + Add Action, enter Auto Sequence, Save.
  7. Repeat the above steps to add multiple gates.

Setup Yards & Gates on the App

  1. From the Dashboard, tap Configuration (top-right cog icon), Properties & Paddocks, Yards & Gates.

  2. To add a Yard, tap +, update details, Save.

  3. Tap a Yard to edit, update details, Save.

  4. To add Gates, tap a Yard, Edit Gates, select the + from the top right of screen. Input details of Gate, Save.
  5. To edit Gates, tap a Yard, Edit Gates, select an existing Gate, update details, Save.
