Devices (web)

Tablets and devices are registered to the tenant when the StockMate App is synced for the first time. All devices registered to the Tenant are listed under Devices. The list shows the App and database version in use, the name and code assigned to the device, as well as synchronisation, Live Backup and status details.
For information on how to update the Name on a device, refer to Preferences (app)
The Code is assigned to a new device the first time it is synced to the StockMate website. Each device will have a unique code. The Device Code is displayed as part of the Session Code, for sessions that are created on that particular device. See Sessions Overview (web) for further information.
  1. Select Administration, Devices.
A green line means the device is currently syncing, yellow means the device has failed sync (or sync is taking long then 30 minutes).

  2. Select a line to see further information for the device.

  3. If a device is lost or stolen, it can be blocked by selecting the device and blocking the device with the red Block button.
