Forecast by Date Report (web)

The Forecast by Date report is a flexible analysis tool that allows the forecast of livestock weights by a specified Target Date.

Weights at the Target Date are calculated using three ADG (Average Daily Gain) measures:
  1. By Overall ADG (ADG from each animal’s first weight to last weight),
  2. By Interim ADG (ADG from each animal’s two most recent weights), and
  3. By Estimated ADG (user-specified ADG).

Generating the Report

Select Reports, Forecast by Date. Select the desired ‘Report Configuration’ from the dropdown, specify ‘Search Criteria’ if desired, Load.

Examples

Below are some examples of the Forecast by Date Report.
  1. To view a summary of the forecasted weight for animals in all Paddocks on a Property, at a given date, you could configure your Search Criteria and Report Configuration as pictured. (You could then adjust your report config to include different fields as required.)

  2. To view the forecasted weights and check performance relative to the Estimated ADG for individual animals in a paddock, at a specified date, you could configure your Search Criteria and Report Configuration as pictured. (You could then adjust your report config to include different fields as required.)

The Bulk Actions function can be accessed from reports that return a single report line per animal e.g. Animal Scans, Livestock, Forecast and Financial Reports. The EID field must be visible in the report configuration to select animals. Refer to Session Screen Overview (web) for further information about Bulk Actions.
