Report Search Criteria

Report Search Criteria

The Report Search Criteria allows for flexibility in the results returned when loading a report. If no Search Criteria is selected all data could be loaded in the report, or the Search Criteria be used to target reporting to a specific group of animals. There are three general types of search criteria used throughout StockMate:
  1. Livestock: Found in most StockMate reports. The values selected pertain to the animal's values at the report date.
On reports that can be backdated, report date refers to the backdated date. Reports that do not have a backdated option use the animal's values as at "now".
  2. Sessions: Found in limited StockMate reports (Sessions Report). The values selected are relative to the Session, rather than animals.
  3. CSV: Found in some StockMate reports. Allows for reporting on a group of animals specified individually in a CSV file.

Search Criteria Form

The Search Criteria Form can be found in the top section of StockMate Reports. It can be used to narrow down the results returned in reports, to groups of animals with the same attributes. Results will only be returned where all Search Criteria are met.
  1. From the Report screen, select the required options for your Search Criteria.
Some Reports allow for multi-select in the Search Criteria , tick all options required.

  2. For reports that have the Back-date option:
    1. Leave Back-date unticked. The Search Criteria will pertain to values as at "now".

    2. Tick Back-date and select date/time. The Search Criteria will pertain to values as at the selected date.
  3. Once all required Search Criteria has been selected, select Report ConfigurationLoad to view results
If the Search Criteria is changed, the Results must be re-loaded to reflect the changes.

  4. Reset can be used to clear the previously selected Search Criteria.

Search Criteria CSV

Some Reports (Livestock Report (web)Sessions Report (web) and Follow-ups Report) have an additional CSV Search Criteria function. A CSV with individual animals can be uploaded, the data for these animals will then return in the report. This is useful when a specific group of animals need to be reported on, but may not meet the traditional Search Criteria options.
The Search Criteria CSV works independently to the Search Criteria Form. Animals in the CSV will return in results, the Form Criteria will be ignored.
  1. From the Report Screen, select CSV.
  2. Select Get Import Template, open the template on your PC.
  3. Populate the CSV file and save.
Only one identifier is required for each animal, but multiple can be supplied.

  4. Back-date option:
    1. Leave Back-date unticked. The Report date will pertain to values as at "now".

    2. Tick Back-date and select date/time. The Report date will pertain to values as at the selected date.

  5. Select Browse, select your CSV file, Load.
