The Report Search Criteria allows for flexibility in the results returned when loading a report. If no Search Criteria is selected all data will be loaded in the report, or the Search Criteria be used to target reporting to a specific group of animals. There are three general types of search criteria used throughout StockMate:
Livestock: Found in most StockMate reports. The values selected pertain to the animal's values at the report date.
On reports that can be backdated, report date refers to the backdated date. Reports that do not have a backdated option use the animal's values as at "now".
- Sessions: Found in limited StockMate reports (Sessions Report, Treatment Report). The values selected are relative to the Session, rather than animals.
- CSV: Found in some StockMate reports. Allows for reporting on animals specified individually in a CSV file.
- EID: Found in some StockMate reports. Allows for reporting on animals whose EIDs have been specified individually in the EID search text box.
The Search Criteria Form can be found in the top section of StockMate Reports. It can be used to narrow down the results returned in reports, to groups of animals with the same attributes. Results will only be returned where all Search Criteria are met.
From the Report screen, select the required options for your Search Criteria.
Some Reports allow for multi-select in the Search Criteria , tick all options required.
- For reports that have the Back-date option:
- Leave Back-date unticked. The Search Criteria will pertain to values as at "now".

- Tick Back-date and select date/time. The Search Criteria will pertain to values as at the selected date.

Once all required Search Criteria has been selected, select
Report Configuration,

If the Search Criteria is changed, the Results must be re-loaded to reflect the changes.
- Reset can be used to clear the previously selected Search Criteria.

Only one identifier is required for each animal, but multiple can be supplied.
