Restore (app)

The Restore functionality exists in case of tablet failure, or if the database it too large to sync from scratch.

Ensure your StockMate app version on the replacement Tablet is updated.

1. Remove the SD Card from the original tablet, and load SD Card into replacement tablet. Refer to Backup (app) for instructions on how to load a SD card, and backup management on the Original tablet.
   
   

   These steps assume Livebackup was enabled on the original tablet.
2. On the replacement tablet, from the StockMate Login screen, Tap ? (top-right corner).
   
3. Tap Manage Database Backups.
   
4. Tap Restore.
   
   
5. Tap Open from (the three horizontal lines at the top-left), SD card.
   
   
6. Tap StockMate Backups, Live Backups, select the most recent Backup.
   
   

   If Livebackup was not enabled on the Original tablet, instead browse to the location of the required backup file, and select it for Restore.
   
   
7. Select the toggle against ‘I understand and accept the warning above’, Restore Database.
   
8. Sign in to the StockMate app as usual, and proceed to use the app.
