Setup Gallagher HR0 EID Reader (app)

The Gallagher HR0 is a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) EID Tag Reader, that can output EID data to the StockMate App.

Bluetooth: EID Only

StockMate Settings

  1. From the StockMate Options Menu, tap Hardware Connections (top-right, comms icon).
  2. Tap +Add Device, Handheld Reader.
  3. Select options so the Hardware Connections screen will look like the screenshot below.
  4. Turn ON the EID Reader. Tap Scan and select the HR0 (BLE) device from the Device Name list. Tap Save.
    Alert
    Prior to selecting a Paired Device, StockMate will request Location Permission inorder to search for and to pair to the Gallagher HR0. Permission must be granted to enable pairing. Select Continue.

  5. Toggle to initiate the connection. A successful connection will be indicated by a green Bluetooth icon.

    A successful connection must be established before proceeding.
  6. To test: Scan a NLIS button with the HR0, EID will be transferred to StockMate to the Live Readings panel.

Using In a Scan Session

To use in a scan session, use Hardware Connections to toggle Devices on. Refer to Create New Scan Session - Session Setup (app) for further details.
To check Hardware connections, tap Hardware Connections (top-right, comms icon), and edit if required. 
  1. From the StockMate Options Menu, tap Hardware Connections (top-right, comms icon).
  2. Toggle the Gallagher HR0 EID Reader to connect.

    The Bluetooth icon will turn green when successfully connected.
