Setup Genders (web & app)

This is a pre-populated list in StockMate that can be added to or edited via the web & app.
The Sex options are related to validations within other areas of StockMate, e.g., Pregnancy testing can not be applied to Males.  Ensure they are entered correctly on Gender setup.
Desexed options do not affect validations, they are an added reporting benefit.

Setup Genders on the Web

  1. To add to the list of Genders, select Configuration, Livestock Attributes, Genders, + New Gender.

  2. Enter the fields, Save.
    Assigning a User Groups is optional, refer to Setup User Groups (web & app) for further information.

  3. To edit or archive existing Genders, select the Gender, update details, Save.
  4. To filter listed Genders, select .
    To download listed Genders to CSV, select .

Setup Genders on the App

  1. To add to the list of Genders, tap Configuration (top-right cog icon), Livestock Attributes, Genders.

  2. Tap +, enter details, Save.
    Assigning a User Group is optional. Refer to Setup User Groups (web & app) for more information.


  3. To edit or archive an existing Gender, tap the Gender, update details, Save.
