Setup Groups (web & app)

Groups can be used as another way to classify animals into categories for reporting ease. Groups can be added and edited on the web & app.
Area Manager permission level and above required to add or edit.
Considered categorisation strategy improves reporting granularity and management simplicity. Consistency in naming conventions across the organisation is critical.
Assigned Groups can change over time, or as a result of husbandry etc. StockMate tracks the changes in Groups.

Setup Groups on the Web

  1. Select Configuration, Livestock Attributes, Groups, +New Group.

  2. Enter the required details for the Group, select Save.

  3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 to set up each Group.

  4. To edit or delete existing Groups, select the Group, update details, Save.
  5. To filter the listed Groups, select

Setup Groups on the App

  1. On the Dashboard, tap Configuration (top-right cog icon), Livestock Attributes, Groups.

  2. To add a new Group, tap the + from the top right corner of the screen. input Group details, Save.
  3. Input Group details - Group Name, Code, User Groups (optional), tap Save.

  4. To edit a Group, tap the Group, update details, Save.
