Joining Plan Overview

The Joining Plan functionality makes it easy to record and update the best match for each female, provide guidance crushside and track compliance.

Suggested workflow for using Joining Plans:

1. Use software or other methods to determine the best joining male for each female. Use this information to create a CSV file to create the joining plans. See Joining Plan View and Report (web) - Create a Joining Plan using CSV Import.
   
2. Use the Livestock Report to generate a list of required semen for the Joining Session, this can be used to assist in ordering Semen. See Joining Plan Scan Screen, Session Defaults, Reporting (web & app) - Livestock Report, Ordering Semen based on Joining Plans.
   
3. Apply Joining Plan as the Session Defaults, presets can also be created. See Joining Plan Scan Screen, Session Defaults, Reporting (web & app) - Session Defaults on the Web/App.
   
4. Scan females into the Session, Planned Joining will be applied by default. Presets or manual override can be used to change the Joining Male from the suggested Male in the Joining Plan. See Joining Plan Scan Screen, Session Defaults, Reporting (web & app) - Scan Screen on the App.
