Administration Overview (web & app)

The Administration section of StockMate allows clients to manage many tenant related settings.
It is highly recommended to use StockMate with a Chromium-based Web browser (Chrome, Edge etc.). Using StockMate with other browsers may present issues.
These sections can be setup on the web only:
  1. Tenant Settings - Setup the rules and options the tenant will operate under. These can be updated as operational and management requirements change overtime.
  2. Setup Management Areas - Management Areas can be used to define Properties of a business under different management, e.g. QLD/WA. If there is only one Property, you are required to setup one Management Area (use the Property Name).
  3. Setup Users - Use this function to setup Staff who will require access to StockMate and assign the relevant Management Area that they are permitted access to.
  4. Devices - Enables users to view all registered devices and block devices that may be lost or stolen. All devices registered to a client are listed under Devices.
  5. Setup External Services - Allows users to activate external services such as Optiweigh.
  6. Period Close - This function enables users to lock down session data after a period of time to prevent retrospective edits. The Roll Back feature within this function is only available to users with Administration Level access.
These sections are applicable to the app only:
  1. Preferences - Setup tablet specific options; identify the device, enable Live Backup and connect Hardware devices.
  2. About & Support (app)This provides details about the software version, storage information and other important features such as backup management and options to assist with troubleshooting.
