Animal Lookup (web)

The Animal Lookup function allows the user to search any animal by EID, NLIS ID, Visual Tag, Alternate Tag, Society ID or Beast ID.
The Animal Lookup function is always visible from the StockMate Menu.
  1. Find Animal Lookup at the top of the StockMate Menu, input the EID, NLIS ID, Visual Tag, Alternate Tag or Society ID of an animal and select 
    Info
    The Animal Lookup field supports wildcard search in the criteria. The search criteria can use *? or multiple * to represent unknown characters.
     
    InfoSearch for animals 'old' identifiers for when a NLIS tag or Visual Tag has been replaced or Alternate Tag details have been changed.
    Idea
    Ctrl + click on any animal identifiers in StockMate reports to be directed to their Animal Details in a new tab.
  2. The Animal Details Screen displays the details for the Selected Animal. 
    The Sessions tab displays the details of the Sessions that the animal has been a part of.

  3. The Treatments tab displays the details of Treatments the animal has received.
    Refer to Setup Treatment Items (web & app) for instructions on adding Treatment items to Stockmate for use in a Handling Session.

    Although all animals will have a Session listed, not all animals will have information in the other tabs at the bottom of the Animal Details Screen.

  4. The Changes tab displays details of changes in EID, Visual Tag, Alternate Tag, Owner, Mob, Group, Lot and/or Breed Content.

  5. The Pregnancy tab lists details of pregnancy such as Joining, Conception, Estimated Calving Date etc. associated with the Selected Animal.
  6. The Breeding tab displays the details of Breeding Traits, Parentage, DNA Documents. Pedigree Tree and Progeny.
    Refer to Pedigree Tree and Progeny List (web & app) for instructions on adding Parentage information to an animal record.
    Refer to Ovum Pickup (web & app) for details on recording Oocyte collection data to the animal record.

  7. The On Feed History tab displays the feed history of the selected animal.

  8. The Financial tab displays financial information for the selected animal.
    Refer to Add Financials - APG, ASG, OTH (web) for instructions on adding financial information to animals.
  9. The Follow-ups tab displays the reasons (if any) why the selected animal has been flagged during a Session.

    A Follow-up reason can be added directly on the Animal Details screen in the Follow-ups tab.
