Follow-up Reasons

A preset list of follow-ups can be added, allowing for quick selection and standisation of follow-ups. All Follow-up Reasons will be selectable in dropdown lists when adding Follow-ups to Animals. Follow-up Reasons can also be used as search criteria in the Follow-ups Report.

The Reasons field is a combo-box. Therefore, the data entry options are free text, select from a dropdown, or select and edit.

Follow-up Reasons have a fifty character limit.

Admin or Area Manager permissions level users can add, edit or delete Follow-up Reasons. Operator permission level users are view only.

Editing or deleting Follow-up Reasons will NOT change existing Follow-up Reasons saved against animals.

1. Select Follow-ups, Follow-up Reasons.
   
   
2. To add a Follow-up Reason, select + Add Follow-up Reason, enter detail, Save.
   
   
3. To edit an existing Follow-up Reason, select from the list, edit detail, Save.
   
4. To delete an existing Follow-up Reason, select from the list, Delete.
   
   

Bulk Add Follow-ups

Via Follow-ups - Using Bulk Add

1. To bulk add Follow-ups, select Follow-ups, + Bulk Add.
   
   
2. Select Search Criteria, Load, select Animals, Continue to Follow-ups.
   
   
3. Select + Add, enter Follow-up Reason, Follow-up Date. Repeat to add additional follow-ups. When complete select Add Follow-ups for Selected Animals.
   

Via Animal Scans - Using Bulk Actions

1. Follow-ups can be added to several animals in a Session via the Animal Scans report. Tick the required animal records, select Bulk Actions, Add Follow-ups.
   
   When this action is applied to animals on the Animal Scans screen, the Session code they were selected from will also be recorded against the Follow-up.
   

   

   The Bulk Actions function can be accessed from reports that return a single report line per animal e.g., Animal Scans, Livestock, Forecast and Financial Reports. The EID field must be visible in the report configuration to select animals.
   
2. Select Continue to Follow-ups.
   
3. Select +Add, enter Follow-up Reason and Follow-up Date. Repeat to add additional follow-ups. When complete select Add Follow-ups for Selected Animals.
   

   

   

Import CSV

1. To add Follow-ups via CSV, select Follow-ups, Import CSV.
   
   
2. Get Import Template, populate CSV, Browse and select CSV, Import xxx Records.
   
   

Bulk Edit

1. Load Follow-ups report, select Animals, Bulk Edit.
   
   Refer to Search Criteria & Report below for further detail on running the report.
   
2. Edit Follow-up Reason, Follow-up Date, select Complete or  x  to remove, Update Follow-ups.

Search Criteria & Report

Only Animals with Follow-ups return in report results.

Wildcard search can be used in the Follow-up Reason search criteria field. Use * to represent multiple characters.

1. Select Follow-ups, use Search Criteria Form, select desired Report Configuration, Load.
   
   
2. Alternatively, select Follow-ups, Search Criteria CSV, Browse and select CSV, Report Configuration, Load.
   
3. Another Search option is to select Follow-ups, Search Criteria EID. Type or paste multiple EIDs in the text box one per line or separated by commas. Select Load.
   Report results returned will be for animals in the list.
   

   EIDs can be copied in Bulk from the Animal Scans screen. The selected EIDs will be copied to the user's computer clipboard ready to paste.

4. The Report can be configured using a similar process to other StockMate reports. See Report Configurations or Report Search Criteria for more detail.
